Draft report on animal science research organisations in the New Member States and the Candidate Countries

The CEC ANIMAL SCIENCE EU funded project cataloguing animal science research capacities and activities in the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) has published an initial report on its findings, and calls for feedback from the scientific community.
The report aims at presenting the main players of animal science research in the New Member States and the Candidate Countries. The countries addressed by the survey are: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey. Researchers from these countries are invited to answer the questionnaire at www.animal-science.net.
Information and results will be presented at a European information and partnering event on May 31st, Paris (information and registration at http://www.eurosfaire.prd.fr/sme/news310505.html(opens in new window)).A news has already been published on cordis (see http://cordis.europa.eu/food/home.html(opens in new window)).
