Innovation Conference Innovation by Co-operation

The network of the Innovation Relay Centres (IRC) is looking on 10 years transnational support for European co-operations.

23 May 2005 - 24 May 2005
Germany
For this occasion the Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, Innovation Relay Centre Stuttgart- Erfurt- Zürich, the other German IRCs together with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and its initiative New Länder is organizing an Innovation- Conference with the title "Innovation by Co-operation" on 23- 24 May 2005 in Stuttgart, Haus der Wirtschaft, Germany.
Best practices of successful technology transfer will be presented. At the same time the conference will be an open space for discussion on how to stimulate transnational co-operation regarding an innovative future of Europe. Invited are representatives from industry, research institutions and public authorities who are engaged in innovative processes.
The Europe-wide network of Innovation Relay Centres (IRCs) is well-known to its clients primarily smaller companies with technologies or know-how to sell abroad, or with technological needs, which they are unable to meet in their own countries. It has grown steadily in size and strength, and now covers 33 countries and 15 major industrial sectors. Functioning as a single transnational organisation, over 1,000 expert consultants in innovation and technology transfer in 250 networked local offices have already helped to bring to completion more than 1000 licensing or technical co-operation deals between partners in different European countries - and are adding to the total every day.
