IXth Warsaw Science Festival Organised by a consortium of academic and research institutions, foundations and museums the IXth Warsaw Science Festival will be held on 16-25 Sept 2005. 16 September 2005 - 25 September 2005 Poland According to the programme of the festival, 6 general debates, around 120 evening lectures and 250 demonstrations, workshops, excursions, contests, shows etc will take place in the city of Warsaw during the two weekends. For school pupils and students more then 400 different "classes" are offered. About 150 different scientific institutions and university departments, and 1000 scientists are involved in organization. During the festival a large Project "Science for the People", part of the European"Researchers in Europe - 2005 Initiative" will be presented. All activities are free for the public.
