Advances in refrigeration systems, food technologies and cold chain
The event provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of recent developments and trends in refrigerated food processing, storage, transport, distribution, and related refrigerating machines and systems. Together with the perishable products usually considered at similar meetings, such as fruits, vegetables, meat and their derivatives, special attention will be devoted to refrigeration applications in the production of foods and beverages on the basis of biotechnological processes - beer, wines, yoghurts, fermented milks, cheeses, etc.
Refrigeration machines and systems will be analysed in regard to process optimization for energy savings, proper product safety and quality, and environmental requirements. In view of the conference location, the meeting should also contribute to speeding up the full integration of refrigeration machinery and food manufacture in Central and Eastern Europe into the European and world scientific and industrial structures.
