Delivering interactive multimedia services via satellite Internet

A conference examining the global strategies of satellite and telecom operators will be held in London, United Kingdom, from 22 to 25 September 1998. The conference will comprise a series of presentations from representatives of European companies on delivering interactive multimedia services via satellite Internet, a one-day demonstration of satellite Internet applications, and a workshop on becoming a satellite Internet service provider (ISP).

Topics to be covered during the two-day conference will include:

- Evaluating the key issues driving global broadband satellites for Internet delivery;
- Unravelling the business case behind the different strategies for satellite Internet;
- Examining the factors influencing service providers' choice of capacity;
