Grid@Asia in Seoul - European and Korean collaboration on grids led by ERCIM

Following the successful Grid@Asia events organized in Beijing and Shanghai in 2005 and 2006, the last workshop in a series of three will be hosted by KISTI, Seoul, Korea, on 11-13 December 2006.

Bringing together 150 European, Korean, Chinese and representatives from Asian countries, the event is a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss the priorities, trends and areas of mutual co-operation in Grid related research and technologies between Asia and Europe.

Organized by the EU FP6 funded Grid project Grid@Asia, the workshop will last 2.5 days divided into 5 half-day sessions:

- European Framework Programme 7
- Grid infrastructure
- Grid Middleware
- Grid applications
- Business Grid

Participation is free of charge, but subject to registration to celine.bitoune@ercim.org

This event will run in parallel with the Grid Forum Korea winter workshop to promote European and Korean future collaborations.
