Launching European Innovation Dialogue (EID) Platform, Brussels
The main part of the event is dedicated to identify and debate those innovation issues that are at the core of the platform’s future agenda. Each topic will be introduced by short presentations from a variety of experts including representatives of the European Commission, small and large companies and innovation stakeholders with different backgrounds. The initial statements will be followed by a discussion involving all participants.

Reminder: The European Innovation Dialogue is intended to be a European and consensus-based open structure and serves as a platform for community and commitment building, development of best practices and dissemination activities. Its scope spans the full spectrum of requirements and issues that are relevant to the innovation ecosystem and its actors. The main mission of the EID Platform is to create an environment that encourages innovation.
In the mid- and longer term the European Innovation Dialogue is to play an important role in setting the ‘Strategic Innovation Agenda’ for Europe. The network develops to become the representative body voicing the concerns and priorities of the ‘innovation sector’ at the European level and engaging in debate with European policy makers.
