This year the APSN Annual conference will take place on the 18th and 19th of September, preceding the annual IRCOBI conference running from the 19th - 21st of September. The event location is Maastricht, a city located in the most Southern part of the Netherlands.
During the afternoon of the 18th of September the APSN conference will start with presentations focussing on scientific progress made in European Projects and showing implications for future strategies for road user protection. The next day a joint session with the IRCOBI conference will take place on the topic of Integrated Safety. Several presentations followed by a panel discussion with participants from Europe, the US and Japan will address how new technologies from the active safety field can be used to improve and influence protection of road users in vehicle crashes.
