CIMCA'99, an international conference on computational modelling and control, will be held in Vienna, Austria, from 17 to 19 February 1999. The aim of the event is to provide a medium for the exchange of ideas between researchers and practitioners. The conference will consist of both plenary and contributory sessions, focusing on theory, implementation and applications of computational intelligence techniques to modelling, control and automation.

The following themes will be discussed in detail during the conference:

- Modern and advanced control strategies;
- Hybrid systems;
- Data analysis, prediction and model identification;
- Decision making and information retrieval.
