FP7 Turkey Forum - 4

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) and Turkish Research and Business Organisations (TURBO) is organising “EU 7th Framework Programme Turkey Forum - 4” on October 22nd, 2007 in Ankara. The event is sponsored by the biggest private sector companies in Turkey; Arçelik, Basari, Goldas, Oracle, Siemens, Turkcell and Vestel.

The goal of this Forum is to enhance the collaboration in research and technological development in FP7. The Forum 4 is designed with the active participation from European countries leading innovation and R&D activities in the world. More than 20 high level representatives from Industrial Corporations, Research Centers, Regional Governments and NGO’s will deliver presentations about their research areas and project ideas to enhance cooperation with Turkey. The parallel thematic sessions in the Forum are as follows; ICT, NMP, Energy, Transport, Regional Innovation and Industry-Academia Partnership.

600 representatives from Turkish and European business sectors, R&D institutes, NGO’s and academic circles are expected to attend to the FP7 Turkey Forum 4. The Forum will provide new insights to the participants and get them acquainted with potential local/international partners, thereby to contribute to the development of inter-regional cooperation within Europe.
