Hypertext'99, the tenth in a series of conferences on hypertext and hypermedia, will be held in Darmstadt, Germany, from 21 to 25 February 1999. The aim of the event is to provide a forum for participants to present, exchange and discuss ideas and experiences related to hypermedia and the use of hypermedia concepts and technologies in special domains. Discussions during the conference will focus on issues that reflect diversity with respect to theory, modelling, design, construction, deployment and evaluation of hypermedia in different application domains.
Topics to be discussed in detail during the conference will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- World Wide Web applications and extensions;
- Hypermedia in education and training;
- Innovative hypertexts and novel use of hypertext and hypermedia;
- Theories, models, architectures, standards and frameworks;
- Hypermedia storage technologies;
- Object oriented hypermedia;
- Workplace deployment and industrial applications of hypermedia.
