ICLS'98 - Learning science
The goal of the conference is to obtain a deeper understanding of the cognitive, social, and practical issues underlying effective education and to share insights into the design of the next generation of educational environments. Individuals are invited to share their expertise in cognitive science, cognitive psychology, education, training, multimedia, and artificial intelligence and offer perspectives and insights into these problems.
The topics to be covered in detail during the conference will include:
- Use of advanced visualisations in learning;
- Computer supported collaborative learning;
- Curriculum and school reform;
- Web-based collaboration - what makes it so hard;
- Implementation and evaluation of the GenScope learning environment - issues, solutions and results.
