Workshop for New EU Member States on Hydrogen-Powered Buses and their Infrastructure

The event “Preparing for the Hydrogen Future” focuses on the practical learnings from the HyFLEET:CUTE project. It covers the complexity of the undertaking and highlights also the non-technical aspects that need to be addressed for the successful implementation of the new technologies in daily operation.

The event takes place on 15 and 16 April 2008 in Berlin, Germany. It includes a visit to the HyFLEET:CUTE hydrogen refuelling station and bus maintenance facility. Participants will have the opportunity to ride on both a Fuel Cell Bus and a Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine Bus.

The Workshop aims at stakeholders from the New EU Member States:
• Public Transport Bus Operators and their Communications Staff
• Government Officials involved in Providing and Regulating Public Transport
• Industry Operators in Allied Industries: Bus and Energy Producers; Fuel Distributors
• Public Transport Advisors to Government and City Administrations
• Educators of Bus Maintenance Technicians

There are no fees for attendance. The number of participants is strictly limited.
