Promoting a Global Science Culture for Society - international conference

Promoting a Global Culture of Science for the benefit of Society is the theme of the 20th annual conference of the Academy to be held at Liverpool University.

Professor SEMIR ZEKI (UCL) will receive the the 2008 ERASMUS Medal of the Academy. He will deliver a lecture entitled "The Neurobiology of Human Discontent"

The Academy will award 10 Burgen Scholarships to young researchers, selected from all fields of scholarship by the local organsiing committee.
