Euromedia 99-Developments in Multimedia Technology

Euromedia 99 is to be held in Munich, Germany, on April 25 to 28 1999. The event will focus on the exchange of new technology , methods, tools and applications in the multimedia field, and will bring together three individual conferences with the following themes:

- WEBTEC: focusing on new developments with respect to Internet viewers and programmes, HTML, visual programme languages, VRML and 3D Web programmes, video on the Web, Al on the Web, and software for Web-based business applications;
- MEDIATEC: focusing on new developments in multimedia technology, techniques, and telecommunications,multimedia authoring tools and software, and multimedia building blocks;
- COMTEC: focusing on telecommunications technologies, networks, security and firewalls, mobile communications, and TV technology.

The conference will conclude with an applications conference (APTEC)which will consider telematics applications, education and training with multimedia and integrated enterprise software and groupware.

The European Simulation Office of the Society for Computer Simulation International (SCS) are organising the conference. They are inviting submission of papers for presentation at the conference, which should focus on the topics listed above.
