EuroBioForum Conference
The aim of EuroBioForum is to bring together leaders from science, public funding organisations, industry and foundations to engage in the development of strategic European Research Programmes.
There will be six workshops dedicated to a range of life sciences topics: molecular biology of survival, generating tools for human proteome analysis, DNA barcoding for biodiversity, the human metagenome, human genome profiles in disease and using bacteria for renewable energy production.
There will also be a high-profile roundtable discussion on "Opportunities and challenges for joint programmes in Europe", which will include Dr. Patrick Chaussepied from the National Research Agency [ANR], France and Mr. Volker Rieke from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany.
