K4I platform to launch the Lisbon Forum of the European Parliament

Knowledge4Innovation was launched in April 2008 as an open, independent platform enabling multiple stakeholders of the knowledge and innovation economy to meet and exchange their experiences with the common objective of improving Europe's innovation performance.
Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) is now pleased to announce the establishment of the Lisbon Forum – affording its members the opportunity to engage in a ‘Policy Dialogue’ with Members of the European Parliament and representatives of the other EU institutions.
The Lisbon Forum has been designed specifically for policy makers and the business and science communities to effectively introduce their respective agendas and address the most pressing issues concerning the knowledge and innovation economy.
Representatives of different Commission Directorates General responsible for areas pertinent to innovation such as enterprise, research, education, health, food, energy, regional development and ICT will be welcomed to present their initiatives and viewpoints, coupled with priorities offered by the respective European Council Presidencies.
