The Centre for Earth Observation (CEO) will host a final workshop to pull together and close all its activities under the Fourth Framework Programme. It will be called "Has EO found its customers?" and will be held in Ispra, Northern Italy, on 21 and 22 April 1999.

The event will concentrate mostly on the Earth observation market in Europe and the operational use of satellite data. Results from the CEO's recent market snapshot and impact assessment studies will be presented, and the question "Has EO found its customers?" will be addressed for six customer segments. This will include governmental and intergovernmental institutions such as the EC.

There is no registration fee for the event, which is open to anyone interested in Earth Observation in Europe
