Development agencies discuss FP5 activities

Two activities of the European Union's Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration (RTD) are the topics of a meeting that EURADA, the European Association of Development Agencies, is organizing in Brussels on 24 March 1999.

Speakers from the European Commission will comment on:

- Promoting innovation and encouraging participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs);
- Improving human research potential and the socioeconomic knowledge base.
