Training Course “Coordinating FP7 projects” in Milan - Italy

This two-day training course aims to provide an overview of the features of the FP7, focussing on the Coordinators’ perspective about project design and implementation. It will provide valuable guidance on FP7 proposal and grant agreement preparation, as well as FP7 project planning and project management.

The following topics will be covered during the course:
- Coordinators’ roles and responsibilities
- Hints and tools to prepare a good project budget
- The Negotiation phase
- The Grant Agreement
- The Consortium Agreement: how to protect Background, Foreground and IPR
- Project monitoring, scientific reporting and financial reporting
- Financial management
a. General financial provisions
b. Direct costs: personnel, consumables, durables, subsistence costs and other direct costs; subcontracts; costs of third parties
c. Indirect costs and eligible methods of calculation
d. Ineligible costs
e. Certification requirements: procedures and required supporting documents
f. Controls and sanctions.

The course is targeted to specifically address the needs of all current and future FP7 project coordinators and project managers, both in the private and public sector. The course can be an effective tool to help participants to effectively manage projects and further develop their internal management strategies. It can also provide a good opportunity to network and share good practices.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN ITALIAN. Courses can also be offered in English on demand.
