EMBO Conference on Advances in Stem Cell Research: Development, Regeneration & Disease in Paris - France

The conference will bring together stem cell biologists facing the complexity of cell fate determination with experts in bio-imaging, and those bringing stem cells into the clinic.

6 April 2011 - 8 April 2011
Austria
Stem cell biology progresses very rapidly, in terms of identification of stem cells, their basic biology and role in development and regeneration. Unravelling these mechanisms leads to new concepts and strategies for clinical intervention, including disease modelling, drug screening, and cell therapy.

SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS:
- Regulated and deregulated self-renewal in development and disease
- Generation and regeneration
- Translating stem cells into the clinic

FACULTY:
Alessandro Aiuti, Paolo Bianco, Cédric Blanpain, Oliver Brüstle, Marina Cavazzana-Calvo, Giulio Cossu, Michele de Luca, Brigid Hogan, Wieland B.
