COTECH Project: 2nd Micro-Nano Moulding Workshop - Technologies and Applications to be held in in Lyngby, Denmark
COTECH Project: 2nd Micro-Nano Moulding Workshop on Technologies and Applications will be held on Wednesday, April 27 2011 at the Technical University of Denmark/Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU), Anker Engelunds Vej, Meeting Room 1, Building 101.
The workshop is organized within the dissemination activities and training for professionals of the European Project ‘‘COTECH-Converging technologies for micro systems manufacturing’’.
COTECH is a Large Scale Collaborative Project supported by the European Commission in the 7th Framework Programme (CP-IP 214491-2) of which DTU is an active partner.
The Workshop will present the latest technologies and applications within the field of micro and nano moulding with presentations by speakers from industrial partners, research centers and universities regarding:
* Micro replication processing technologies
* Multi component micro injection moulding
* Hot embossing / thermal nanoimprint
* Microthermoforming
* Process control and condition monitoring of micro injeciton moulding process
* Micro injection moulding machines
* Machinery for high accuracy one-component micro injection moulding
* Machinery for high accuracy multi-component micro injection moulding
* Machinery for high accuracy micro powder injection moulding
* Micro machining for high accuracy micro tooling
* Machinery for high accuracy micro electrical discharge machining for tooling and micro inserts
* Rapid tooling for micro-injection moulding using micro additive manufacturing
* New micro-manufacturing processes based on converging technologies (COTECH processes)
* Micro injection moulding converged with hot embossing
* Hot embossing converged with thermoforming
* Polymer micro product development
* Micro socket for signal carriage of a hearing instrument
* Experimental validation and optimization of polymer micro product process simulations
