OCMOL- Workshop on “Chemical kinetics for the design of nanoporous materials” at NAPEN2011 in Rhode , Greece
NAPEN will provide a forum for the presentation of the developments related to innovative membranes, sorbents and catalysts which in turn will lead to the development of innovative and cost efficient gas to liquid, hydrogen production, carbon dioxide capture and conversion, alkane/alkene separation, methane conversion, hydrogen storage and other significant energy processes. The complete characterization of the complex nanostructure and the development of novel methodologies for monitoring and controlling the evolution of the nanoporous structure during the synthesis and the applications of the nanoporous materials in one of the main focusing points of the workshop. How the acquired fundamental understanding can be exploited in the rational design of novel and advanced nanoporous materials is an aspect dealt with in the workshop "Chemical kinetics for the design of nanoporous materials" organized by the FP7 project OCMOL at the first day of the NAPEN workshop.
