European Research Conference: Supporting and Sustaining Competitive Research in Europe will be held in Braganaca, Portugal
In particular the programme covers essential topics related to:

• Professional Development – Recognition of the profession, Research Office Services and Complementary Skills:
One of the key themes addressed at the conference will be the challenges posed by the new policy directions represented by the Innovation Union in the lead up to the successor programme to FP7. Other highlights include a special event “EARMA in the World – the World in EARMA” which will look at the challenges of global research funding and collaboration and contain representatives from (amongst others) Brazil, China, USA, Qatar, Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and India .
The programme is presented via variety of formats in addition to presentations including workshops, tutorials and roundtable discussions aimed at both beginners and senior Research managers.
