FP7-Technical & Legal Management Workshop

The training will introduce a hands-on approach to FP7 project management, highlighting the changes in the financial framework and implementation guidelines for FP7.

The FP7 – Technical and Legal management course helps ensure that managers are capable of implementing FP7 projects with the best results and the least possible headaches.

The course targets all those competitively participating in FP7 projects and managing their own participation and all current and future FP7 project coordinators.

Day 1

- Introduction to Project Management
- Negotiating an FP7 Grant Agreement – Are your partners validated? How to turn the proposal into a legally binding document?
- Democracy or strict control? Communication and decision-making in FP7 projects
- Getting started - Train your partners, manage the advance payments, prepare detailed work plan
- EC Grant Agreement – legal framework for EU projects
- Consortium Agreement - how to protect your interests? Which applicable law? What sanctions? IPR agreements?
- IPR and legal workshop

Day 2

-Reporting - milestones and deliverables, critical path. Make your partners perform.
-Project reviews - get your partners ready
- Workshop: Solving real financial, management and legal case studies
Rates include course material (electronic+hard copy), coffee breaks, lunches for two days, and social event with dinner. Accommodation is not included in the course price but a special rate of the venue hotel is available via this booking form. Information will be sent upon registration.
