INTEROP-VLab (the Virtual European Laboratory for Enterprise Interoperability), the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) and INTERVAL (Spanish Pole of I-VLab) organize the 6th International Conference on Interoperability for Enterprise Systems and Applications (I-ESA’12) in Valencia (Spain), from 20th to 23rd March 2012.

I-ESA International Conference is the premier event on Interoperability for Enterprise Systems and Applications. Since 2005, it is the official conference of the INTEROP-VLab, the largest community of Enterprise Interoperability experts of Europe and China.
Enterprise Interoperability is the ability of an organisation to work with other organisations without special effort. The capability to interact and exchange information both internally and with external organisations (partners, suppliers, customers, citizens…) is a key issue in the today’s economy. It is fundamental in order to produce goods and/or services quickly and at lower cost, while ensuring higher levels of quality, customisation, services and security.
SME’s need for Enterprise Interoperability is one of the significant drivers for research into Future Internet including Internet of Things, Internet of Services Internet of People, Processes, and Knowledge.

I-ESA’12 Conference is an ideal opportunity to meet and interact with policymakers, professionals, experts, public and private sector, academy, and regional and international organizations on Enterprise Interoperability.
Throughout the 4 days, I-ESA will be central to the debate within the scope of keynotes speeches, presentations of scientific papers and industrial use cases, a doctoral symposium and workshops sessions on innovative applications in e-Health, Manufacturing, Logistic & Transport, Crisis management… The participants will exchange their visions, ideas, research results and industrial experiences and problems of business interoperability in their daily operations.
