6th General Assembly & Annual Forum of the European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine in Barcelona, Spain
Furthermore, a key target of this forum will be to raise awareness for translational research, clinical needs and necessary conditions to make nanomedicine happen in Europe. This year’s event will focus in particular, on the identification of industrial opportunities and needs, on the strategies for adapting regulations, funding schemes and infrastructures, on clinical challenges and on translational strategies of nanomedicine.
Further information, such as the programme, travel details as well as the online registration form are available on the ETP Nanomedicine website at: http://www.etp-nanomedicine.eu/forum-2011(opens in new window)
About the ETPN
The European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine is an industry-driven initiative which was set up together with the European Commission. The platform fosters the application of nanotechnology to achieve medical breakthroughs. Nanomedicine makes use of the often very different physical, chemical and biological properties at the nanometer scale to influence biological processes in novel ways. Therefore, Nanomedicine can potentially enable the early detection and prevention of diseases and essentially improve their diagnosis, treatment and healing.
