2nd STREAM Summer School
The summer school is organized in the framework of the project STREAM (Sustainable Technologies and Research for European Aquatic Management) funded by the European Union under the FP7 which aims to increase awareness of water research results.
Participants will follow courses on theoretical and practical scientific subjects and will visit outstanding centres and institutes in Lazio (Italy) such as ENEA, IRSA-CNR and BIC.
This 5-day training will cover the main topics of the environmental field:
• Module I: Water Management, Governance and Policy;
• Module II: Innovative Water Technologies;
• Module III: Research and Innovation support to young researchers and SME’s.
The programme includes a range of important topics such as: Green Innovation ideas, European water policies and governance aspects of water resources, Technologies for efficient water management in urban sector, Water saving and recycle in production processes, Bioremediation of contaminated aquifers, Water and Energy, and Water and Food. On the last day of the Summer School, the participants will have the chance to create and present their own proposals to develop green innovation ideas in a final workshop.
