Last days to register: IV EWDSy - Fourth European Workshop in Drug Synthesis in Certosa di Pontignano, Italy

Organised by the University of Siena, IT, the fourth edition of the European Workshop in Drug Synthesis with the focus on new Sustainable Process for Medicinal Chemistry, will be taking place from the 27th of May to the 31st of May 2012 in Certosa di Pontignano, just outside the city of Siena (Tuscany).

After the success of the previous workshops, which gained a large participation from international speakers, the upcoming edition is also to be considered a high quality event. Well known researchers from different Universities and from the Pharmaceutical Industry, including also directors of research are involved in the workshop organized by the University of Siena. The programme includes seventeen speakers from various Universities in Europe but also from the United States and Canada.

During this five days workshop, participants will assist to lectures of high level researchers, working session and presentation from young researchers.

Just like in the previous years, the first and the last two days consist in lessons in the morning and exercises in the afternoon, while the third day will be focused on lectures in the morning and discussions in the afternoon. Morning and early afternoon sessions will consist of plenary lectures and will be followed by presentations from young researchers and PHD students selected on the basis of the submitted abstracts.

The participation is limited to 65 attendees.

The deadline for the application is the 20th of April 2012.
