Second AEC Conference on Fire protection engineering in railway rolling stock will take place on 12 and 13 June 2012, in Madrid, Spain.
Session topics will be on the following:
- The EN 45545 standard: the way to interoperability and its impact.
- Results of the most recent R&D projects in fire Protection in Railway Rolling Stock.
- New tests and progress on materials and components.
- Fire detection, fighting and protection.
- Advanced tools for simulation of fire dynamics and evacuation applied to the railway.
