Coordinating an EU collaborative research project is not for the faint-hearted!

How would you transfer work and budget between partners? Can you claim the costs of additional person months if someone leaves the project and the replacement takes longer to complete the work? What do you do if budget is being claimed – but the corresponding work is not being completed? How do you attempt to keep the project on schedule? What preparation is required for a technical review with the European Commission?

Come and find out about all this and much more:

COORDINATING FP7 RESEARCH PROJECTS WORKSHOP
3 July 2012 – Cambridge, UK

This workshop explains how these projects funded under the Framework programme really work!

It covers both the formal basis of the project from contracts to reporting and review, and the practicalities of coordinating a multi-partner, multi-country project to deliver the results promised in the proposal.

The workshop is aimed at research managers and administrators coordinating EU collaborative research projects. It is also suitable for those managing their organisation’s participation in EU collaborative projects, or developing the management section of proposals for these projects.

It will be limited to 24 participants, to allow high levels of interaction and plenty of time for questions. Note: those requiring information on the financial aspects of FP7 should attend our Finance in FP7 workshop.
