Course on Heat Integration and Biorefineries (HintBioref) in Lisbon, Portugal

This European school aims at the modeling, simulation and optimization of subsystems of heat and mass exchanger, utilities, reaction, separation, and their integration in industrial applications, by combining the expertise of the partner institutions with a large experience in the field. The lecturers are presenting large and complementary expertise, and since they are coming from different European and associate countries (Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and United Kingdom), the working language is English.
Also, attention is paid to the industrial approach onto bioenergy sources (biorefineries, biomass transformations, …) and to analyze them on face of nuclear energy. The Erasmus IP considers support for MSc./PhD. students or researchers on Process Systems Engineering who can expand the graduation skills, industry professionals that want to update their knowledge, and other graduates from Engineering specialties or Exact Sciences that search for a process industry approach.
