WORKSHOP: Horizon 2020 - The story so far...being held in Cambridge, UK

Workshop Date: 5 February 2013
Workshop Location: Cambridge, UK
Workshop Organisers: Singleimage Limited

5 February 2013 - 5 February 2013
Austria
Horizon 2020 is the successor to FP7 and is scheduled to start in 2014. This new programme will incorporate all research and innovation funding currently provided through FP7, along with the majority of related activities of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme, and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology – with only one set of rules!

The European Commission (EC) has made its proposals on all aspects on how Horizon 2020 will operate. These are the ones you have most likely heard about. But did you know that the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers take the final decisions? And they don’t agree with the EC!

This workshop will explain the proposals, and adjustments, that are under discussion amongst the decision makers at present. It will highlight the main differences between Horizon 2020 and FP7 and give an insight into the fundamental workings of the new programme.

So if you are a research advisor or a business manager who has an understanding of FP7, come and find out what has been decided, what is in the pipeline and how Horizon 2020 will differ from FP7, by attending our workshop:
