The Association for Learning Technology is holding its sixth international conference ALT-C 99, in Bristol, UK, from 21 to 23 September 1999.

ALT-C 99 is based upon the 'Learning Technology Life-Cycle' - the effective integration of new technologies into existing curricula. The conference will examine the process from initial design through to implementation and outcome evaluation. It will include associated issues of policy and staff development.

Within the conference the following themes will be addressed: best educational practice; delivery mechanisms; assessment; multimedia; implementation and integration; staff development; evaluation and organisational change.
