Paris hosts information day on Quality of Life programme

The French National Contact Point for the Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources programme, part of the European Union's Fifth Framework Programme, is organising a national information day in Paris on 17 December 1999. This will concentrate on the second call for proposals, including priorities for the 2000 calls and feed-back on the evaluation of the proposals submitted last June.
Mr Etienne Magnien (from the European Commission's Research Directorate-General), will be present at the event where there will be a detailed presentation of the new version of the work programme, and an explanation of how the Commission has implemented its new evaluation procedures. The information day will conclude with a round-table with experts and evaluators and there will be time during the discussion for responses to participants' questions.
