Second Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference

The Second Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference ‘Mathematical Transgressions’ will take place from 15 to 19 March 2015 in Krakow, Poland.

Conference topics will include, among other things, the didactics, psychology and philosophy of mathematics; the relationship between theory and practice in mathematics education; and underachievement syndrome in learning mathematics. Educators of mathematics, mathematicians, pedagogues, psychologists and philosophers are invited to participate. Activities will include plenary lectures, oral presentations, workshops and ‘open discussion’.

The conference will be conducted in English and Polish, however one of the plenary lectures will be given in French. Simultaneous translation will be provided for plenary lectures and workshops. Regular registration fees apply until 31 December, after which late registration fees will apply.
