Sustainable Places 2015

The RESILIENT and PERFORMER European research projects are pleased to announce the 2015 edition of the 'Sustainable Places' annual event in Savona, Italy.

16 September 2015 - 18 September 2015
Italy
This event aims to gather scientists, researchers, and engineers, from research institutes and the industry, around one of the greatest challenges that our societies has ever faced: ensuring long-term environmental sustainability of ever-growing, densifying urban areas, in a resource-constrained world.

As usual, the Sustainable Places conference will encourage networking and clustering among the projects funded in the framework of the FP7 and H2020 EeB PPP. On this occasion, participants will have the opportunity to assess innovative initiatives, access up-to-date information, discuss market trends and envision possible synergies.

Key stakeholders from the energy efficiency value chain have already expressed their interest in joining the event. An attendance of around 200 participants, coming from Europe and other regions of the world, is expected.

This call for contributions invites to present recent results and innovative work on energy efficiency at building, district, and city levels. Contributions which present inputs of research & innovation EU projects are encouraged.

Four kinds of contributions are expected:

• Presentation – to be presented at lively and interactive thematic sessions.

• Paper & Presentation – 8-pages scientific paper to be presented during an expert oriented technical focus.

• Workshop – a 90′ or 180′ session to engage speakers and attendees in a productive interaction and to produce specific outcomes.

• Poster – to be displayed in an exhibition area.

We are looking forward to receiving your contributions!
