INNOVAGE Final Conference

The FP7-funded INNOVAGE project has spent three years exploring how social innovations can support healthy life expectancy. Its key outputs are four major new social innovations in different EU countries, a database of exemplar social innovations which facilitates extended healthy life years and an evaluation tool which assesses the impact of social innovations on both life expectancy and healthy life expectancy.
The upcoming final conference, titled ‘European Conference on Social Innovations for Healthy and Active Life Expectancy’, will showcase these results as well as highlighting the great potential of social innovations to both improve wellbeing and quality of life. It also aims to contribute towards neutralising the negative aspects of ageing at the individual and societal levels.
