ATEX Workshop

The European Commission is organising an ATEX Workshop on 10 March 2000, in Brussels, which will cover both the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and the proposal for an ATEX Directive regarding the health and safety of workers.
The ATEX Directive was adopted by the European Union to facilitate free trade in the EU by aligning the technical and legal requirements in Member States for products intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
This event will be open to all interested parties, in particular equipment manufacturers and users, conformity assessment and standardisation bodies and competent authorities.
