Workshop on ISO 14000 standard in the chemical industry

An International Workshop on the use of ISO 14000 in the chemical industry throughout the UN/ECE Region will be held on 30 and 31 March in Budapest, Hungary.
The event is organised by the UN/ECE Ad Hoc Group of Experts on the Chemical Industry and the UN/ECE Working Party on Technical Harmonisation and Standardisation Policies in Co-operation with Government of Hungary.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together international, regional, and national standardisation organisations, representatives from regulatory authorities and private companies to compare how ISO 14000 standards and other related environmental management systems are used in different countries, and in particular in the chemical industry.
