The Joint Research Centre is organising an International Workshop on the 'Promotion of Technical Harmonisation on Risk-Based Decision-Making' between 22 and 26 May 2000 in Stresa, Italy.
The workshop will focus on the need for all risks to be systematically analysed, assessed and managed in order to protect public health and safety, and to limit the environmental and economic impacts of potential accidents.
