Second International Conference on Geographical Information Systems Theory, Applications and Management - GISTAM 2016

The International Conference on Geographical Information Systems Theory, Applications and Management aims at creating a meeting point for researchers and practitioners that address new challenges in geo-spatial data sensing, observation, representation, processing, visualization, sharing and managing, for all aspects concerning both information communication and technologies (ICT) as well as management information systems and knowledge-based systems.

26 Avril 2016 - 27 Avril 2016
Italy
The conference welcomes original papers of either a practical or theoretical nature, presenting research or applications, of a specialized or interdisciplinary nature, addressing any aspect of geographic information systems and technologies.

GISTAM 2016 will be held in conjunction with ICEIS 2016 and ENASE 2016.

Conference areas:
Each of these topic areas is expanded below but the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. 1. Data acquisition and processing
2. Remote sensing
3. Modelling, representation and visualization
4. Knowledge extraction and management
5. Domain applications
