Training Course 'Management and reporting in ERC and Marie Curie actions'

This course, which will take place in Turin, is the second of two modules in a training pathway dedicated to Marie Curie and ERC Actions. The first module (29 September 2015) will deal with techniques for successful project design of Marie Curie Actions, while this second module (30 September – 1 October 2015) will treat project management of Marie Curie and ERC Actions making comparisons with FP7 where relevant. It is possible to attend both courses or only one of them.

This training course will cover the following topics:
1. General introduction to Marie Curie and ERC actions
2. The Grant Agreement with the European Commission
3. Good contractual practices with researchers
4. Grant management; calculation and distribution of the EU contribution
5. Financial reporting
6. Project technical reporting
7. Fiscal issues: VAT, direct and indirect fees
8. Social security issues
9. Bookkeeping, accounting records, cost recording.

The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and project managers involved in the management of Marie Curie and ERC actions and in the financial reporting. The course will help participants to effectively manage projects, with examples and practical suggestions to further develop their internal management strategies. It can also provide a useful opportunity for networking and sharing good practices.

The course will be held in Italian. Courses can also be offered in English on demand.

Dates: Wednesday 30 September 2015 (from 09:00 to 17:30) - Thursday 1 October 2015 (from 09:00 to 17:00)

Course fee for attendance only to this second module (30 September – 1 October 2015): EUR 1000+VAT.
Fee for those who will attend both modules (29 September 2015 and 30 September – 1 October 2015): EUR 1200+VAT (i.e.: EUR 500+VAT for the first module and EUR 700+VAT for the second module).
The fee includes tuition, documentation (both in printed and electronic format), certificate, morning coffees and lunches.
