The event, hosted by CITYLAB consortium member the University of Southampton, will be exploring innovative solutions on how to ensure that freight consolidation centres work in an efficient manner, focusing on the experiences of companies and organisations within the city of Southampton.
As part of the event, there will also be a site tour of the facilities of fellow CITYLAB consortium member Meachers Global Logistics.
The CITYLAB project is aiming to develop knowledge and solutions that result in roll-out, up-scaling and further implementation of cost effective strategies, measures and tools for emission free city logistics in urban centres by 2030.
