RDA Europe supports 20 Europeans to attend the RDA 7th Plenary Meeting, 1-3 March, Tokyo, Japan.
The Research Data Alliance holds its plenary meetings every six months in a different region around the world. These three-day working meetings bring together a unique community of data scientists, librarians, computer and domain scientists, policy makers and strategists to discuss challenges to global data sharing and identify concrete actions and plans going forward. For the first time, RDA is organising its plenary meeting in Asia with the generous support of JST.
RDA Europe is running a Support programme to facilitate the participation of active European RDA members to the upcoming Plenary meeting in Tokyo by covering their travel and subsistence costs. RDA Europe is seeking applications from students and early career professionals in organisations related to the fields of research data sharing and exchange. Organise a meeting at P7. The RDA Plenaries are working events built around the RDA Working Group (WG) and Interest Group (IG) meetings.
