Workshop about the participation of Madrid Entities in European Energy projects: Generating Research Alliances within the Renewable Energy Sector-ETRERA_2020

The workshop was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the Infoday of ETRERA_2020 as all the projects matched with ETRERA_2020 objectives, the attendees were specialized in this sector and the trade fair that hosted the workshop was the main event in Spain about Renewable Energies. Moreover, the workshop counted also with the opening of the Deputy Director in Research of Madrid Region, and the participation of the National contact point in Energy for the European Commission Horizon 2020 Programme. The ETRERA_2020 presentation done during the workshop by Madrid Network, as representative of the project in Spain, was focused on introducing the importance of fostering the collaboration in the renewable energy sector as a great opportunity to improve technologies and business opportunities all along the Mediterranean area. They were also introduced the possible exchange programmes between companies and research institutions during the project, and the different national renewable energy plans for each of the Mediterranean countries participating in ETRERA_2020 as a way to show the excellent business opportunities in the next years in the area. There were 60 attendees registered plus 6 speakers.
