FLEX5GWARE fifth International Workshop

The CLEEN (Cloud Technologies and Energy Efficiency in Mobile Communication Networks) workshop 2017 is entitled ‘How cloudy and green will mobile network and services be?’
It will consider flexibly centralised radio access networks using cloud-processing based on open IT platforms in coordination with network functions virtualisation technologies and Mobile Edge Computing. These elements are central to the definition of 5G.
The workshop will cover technologies across PHY, MAC, and network layers, technologies that translate the cloud-paradigm to the radio access and backhaul network, and will analyse the network evolution from the energy efficiency perspective.
