The EU-funded REMINE project will be hosting its International Conference alongside a brokerage event and lab workshop in Covilhã, Portugal, 25-27 October, 2017.

The first REMINE international conference organised within the framework of EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Research Fellowship Programme – Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) will be held at the University of Beira Interior. It will consider industry waste material valorisation and the recycling of mining wastes into valuable materials for infrastructure and the building products industry
The first day’s program will focus on alkali with seminars on mix design alkali-activated materials using mining waste and on the characterisation of the properties of alkali-activated materials. These seminars will be followed by hands-on experiments. Days two and three will be taken up by Conference sessions.
