The event is the second of a series of UNI-SET ECEs which are taking place in 2016 and 2017 to discuss and stimulate the development of innovative research and education programmes in the energy field. The ECEs aim to mobilise the European university community to tackle the “energy challenge”, in the framework of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) and the European Energy Union. The ECE themes are based on the priorities of the SET-Plan. Very importantly, conference participants also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a “Roadmap for Universities” in the energy sector.
The priorities that serve as the foundation of the ECE planned in Turin are based on Core Priority 3 “Develop and strengthen energy-efficient systems” and Additional Priority 2 “Increase safety in the use of nuclear energy” (more information on the event at: http://www.eua.be/activities-services/events/event/2016/09/26/default-calendar/2nd-uni-set-energy-clustering-event).
Call for Contributions:
We are welcoming your proposals for contributions in the form of “good practice examples” and “project ideas and proposals” for several parallel sessions based on the event themes of “energy efficiency” and “nuclear safety”. Please refer to the Call for Expressions of Interest on the event website on how to provide your inputs to the conference:
