Value Relay Centre launched in Stuttgart

The Value Relay Centre launch in Stuttgart which took place on 14 May 1993 was heavily attended by representatives from small- and medium-sized enterprises who showed a high degree of interest, particularly for becoming registered users of CORDIS and entering their profile in the RTD-Partners database.
Mr. B. Niessen from DG XIII's Dissemination of Scientific and Technical Knowledge Unit (DG XIII/D-2) presented CORDIS and demonstrated the latest CORDIS product, the CD-ROM. Mr. Niessen was able to run through a basic training course for using CORDIS, which was particularly effective in stimulating understanding and interest. From this direct and real contact with CORDIS, the participants were able to pose specific and pertinent questions about CORDIS in relationship to their activities and needs.
Also present from the Commission was Dr. K. Kogler (DG XII) who presented the CRAFT programme.
